About our Columbus office

Columbus, Ohio's capital city, is home to ECDI's headquarters. Our offices are housed in a refurbished schoolhouse that was built in the year 1900, with the Food Fort and Women's Business Center in adjoining buildings and Food Fort 2.0 across the street. The space surrounding our complex is dedicated to parking and electric hookup for the food truck members of the Food Fort.

Our buildings sit in the Devon Triangle neighborhood, which is a USDA-identified food desert. ECDI and our staff and clients have taken steps to alleviate our neighbors' lack of access to healthy foods, such as growing a community garden and holding Free Farm Stand Fridays throughout the summer.

ECDI's staff-run community garden provides produce for a Free Farm Stand on Fridays throughout the summer

In Columbus, you'll find:

  • ECDI's main office functions (HR, financials, marketing, data processing, etc.)

  • Central Ohio loan processing

  • Women's Business Center of Central Ohio

  • Food Fort and Food Fort 2.0
